Cabinet
It is made of steel sheet, coated with black lacquer, mounting brackets and screws are electroplated.
Running wheel
is made of aluminium alloy (6-400) or aluminium plate pressed directly on the motor (4-400). The rotation of the blades is set by the manufacturer. The impeller is statically and dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940.
Motor
is asynchronous with short armature, external rotor and start-up capacitor (4-400) or with resistive armature and stator with cooling fins (6-400). TCBB fan motors are 1-phase for 230 V, TCBT are 3-phase for 230/400 V. Permanent operating temperature -40 to +40 °C. Grease-filled ball bearings for lifetime. IP54 protection.
Speed control
is carried out by electronic and transformer regulators by changing voltage or frequency converters.
Rotation direction
can be changed for single-phase and three-phase motors. With a standard impeller, the flow rate drops by approx. 30% when the direction of rotation is reversed. It is possible to order an impeller for the opposite direction of rotation. Air flow is standard from the impeller to the motor.
Clamps
is made of black plastic as standard. In the single-phase version it also contains a start-up capacitor. The terminal block is located on the cabinet.
Mounting
Fan in each motor axis position. The cabinet must not transmit mechanical stresses from the piping. A flexible connection to the piping must be used.
Noise
indicated in the performance characteristics correspond to the free-field sound pressure values at a distance of three times the impeller diameter (minimum 1,5 m).
Instructions
The COMPACT series fans are high-performance fans with a convenient short housing for installation in the ductwork.
