Product description
Cabinet

is of self-supporting construction and is made of 25 mm thick panels with polyurethane foam insulation. The cabinet and internal parts are made of a special material ALUZINC®, which is highly corrosion resistant and has an attractive appearance. Airtightness class 2. 160 mm diameter inlet and outlet ports for pipe connections. Revision access is located on the side of the cabinet.

Fans

Unit contains two radial fans with rearward curved blades with EC motor.

Motors

They are single-phase EC with low power consumption, 230 V/50 Hz. IP54 protection.

Recuperation

Counter-current aluminium heat exchanger with 85.5% (EHR 300 NA) and 83% (EHR 480 NA) efficiency respectively. The heat exchanger is accessible by removing the side panel. A unit with an NA/E enthalpy exchanger (moisture transfer) can be supplied on request. The unit includes automatic bypass of the heat exchanger (Bypass).

Filter

The unit is equipped with two plate filters with pressure switches: F7 (ISO ePM2,5 70%) for fresh air intake and M5 (ISO ePM10 50%) for waste air intake.

Outdoor filters

- AFR-EHR 300/480 NA F7 (ISO ePM2.5 70%)
- AFR-EHR 300/480 NA M5 (ISO ePM10 50%)

Electrical connection

The connection terminal block is mounted on the side of the unit.

Mounting

The unit is designed for horizontal mounting indoors, under the ceiling or on the floor. The required ambient temperature is between 0° and 45°C. The unit must be mounted in such a way as to provide sufficient space for opening the unit lid, changing filters, connecting the condensate drain to the waste with a siphon odour stop and for carrying out periodic wiring inspections.

Regulation

The unit is supplied with a control system, which is available in CTR-S, EVO-PH or EVOD-PH-IP versions. The integrated control system allows for easy interchange of the individual control systems even after installation.
- CTR-S - 3 levels of speed setting and the possibility to switch off the unit. Automatic control of exchanger bypass. Filter clogging and fault indication.
- EVO-PH - colour backlit touch screen display allowing programming of the unit and instant status monitoring. Weekly programming. Can be controlled by external air quality sensors. Filter clogging indication. Error messages. Optional COP (constant pressure) or CAV (constant flow) control.
- EVOD-PH-IP - same characteristics as EVO-PH with the added option of MODBUS communication protocol with ETHERNET connection. Optional RS485 connection is also available. It allows the unit to be controlled by a higher-level system, in which case interaction with the unit is possible via a web browser.

Options

The unit comes in 2 sizes for airflows of 360 m3/hr and 480 m3/hr and is configured in a Plug&Play system. The units can also be supplied in mirrored versions (NA/M, NA/EM).

Accessories

- ED Flex® System circular ductwork
- ED Plano® System square ductwork
- AIRSENS-CO2 intelligent CO sensor2
- AIRSENS-VOC intelligent VOC sensor
- AIRSENS-RH intelligent RH sensor
- MBE-AFP active frost protection

Instructions

On request, the unit can be supplemented with an external (piped) water or electric heater or a water cooler (special equipment). This option must be consulted before ordering. Due to the high efficiency of the heat exchanger, reheating is usually not necessary. In areas where temperatures are often below -5 °C, it is recommended to install a hot-water heat exchanger or an integrated 1 kW AF electric air preheater for fresh air intake. After basic set-up by the installer, the unit requires no further adjustment. Demands on the user are minimal. Filter replacement is recommended at least once a year. When designing heat recovery units and using them in buildings with gas appliances cat. B appliances (open chamber gas boilers and water heaters) or with open firebox appliances burning solid or liquid fuels with flue gas exhaust to the chimney, the relevant professional standards and legal provisions must be observed.

Information

Small unit designed for residential ventilation, available in 2 sizes. The unit is designed for permanent operation.
