We designed and delivered the largest modular air handling unit DUOVENT to Klášterec nad Ohří for a foreign client.
The aim of the project was to create an HVAC system that would ensure optimal indoor environmental quality for the employees while responding effectively to operational and climatic conditions throughout the year.
The system provides ventilation for two industrial halls and meets the high demands for hygienic air exchange with a flow rate of up to 50,000 m³/h. At the same time, it guarantees year-round thermal comfort of the working environment thanks to the 400 kW heating and cooling water registers included in the unit.
The entire assembly reaches 10 meters in length and 4 meters in height. To make installation easier and faster, the unit has been divided into four separate modules. The heat and cold sources are external chillers with their own autonomous control, which communicate with the Digireg control system. This provides comprehensive control of the entire air handling unit.
For remote supervisory control, the system is connected to software communicating via the ModBus RTU protocol.
