Description
The NEO square fire dampers are used as a closure for air ducts in case of fire. By activating the damper, the spread of combustion products to the adjacent fire compartment is prevented for a specified period of time. The damper casing is made of galvanized steel plate, alternatively of stainless steel or acid-resistant steel. The fire resistance of the damper is EI 120 (in i<->o) S. Fire dampers are certified according to EN 15 650.
Use
The fire dampers can be used for clean air free of mechanical and chemical impurities and for environments without explosion hazards.
Variants
The damper is available in two versions, with a fusible fuse (WT72 or WT95), which activates the closing mechanism at temperatures above 72 °C or 95 °C, respectively, or with a servo drive (FDG). The servo drive can be fitted in 24 V or 230 V versions.
Mounting
The NEO fire dampers are designed for square ducts from 200 × 100 mm to 1200 × 900 mm (H × W). The damper is designed with an emphasis on minimum pressure loss and is suitable for installation in all common building structures. The damper can be installed in fire partition and rigid ceiling construction, including the installation of dampers in groups according to the enclosed installation instructions. The damper can be installed without downstream piping. If required, recommended accessories such as TRA certified cover grid or 1WKKP position limit switches can be used.
Note
Fire dampers are fire safety devices, therefore it is necessary to follow the rules prescribed by the standard (training of installers, carrying out regular operational checks, etc.). Ask for detailed information!
