KOB 100 black disc drain valve

The valve has a foam seal. The flow rate is adjusted by turning the control cone to the required position and securing it in place with a lock nut. The mounting ring is made of galvanised steel and is included with the disc valve.

Installation

The mounting ring is attached to the duct using a screw or rivet. The damper is secured by ‘screwing’ it into the thread in the mounting ring.

Measurement and control

Air flow is controlled by turning the central disc, which changes the setting dimension a (mm). Air flow is measured by measuring the pressure difference using a measuring tube.

Explanatory notes

The KO butterfly valve is available in a RAL 9010 painted finish.
The KOB butterfly valve is available in a RAL 9005 painted finish.
The KOC butterfly valve is available in a polished chrome finish.

Note
KO disc valves are available in the KEL 100 and KEL 125 variants with 12 V electric control for zone ventilation. A CTE 12/708 safety transformer with a time delay is included.
