Product description
Product description

The iC2-Micro frequency converters are designed for simple and efficient use in common and demanding HVAC and industrial applications. They offer state-of-the-art control, compact design and high energy efficiency.
They operate with unmatched reliability even in complex applications. iC2-Micro will provide user comfort and easy commissioning in a compact design.
iC2-Micro is designed to control fan motor speed in response to system feedback or remote commands from external controllers.
The drive system consists of a custom inverter and motor. Depending on the configuration, the inverter can be used in stand-alone applications or as part of a larger device or installation. The inverters are available with different degrees of protection. They are suitable for installation in control cabinets, on a room wall or in dedicated control rooms.
Always follow the project documentation and operating instructions when installing.

Basic Features

- power supply: 1× 200-240 V / 3× 380-480 V
- power range: 0.37-22 kW
- output frequency: induction motor 0-200 Hz (VVC+ mode), 0-500 Hz (U/f mode)
- control: U/f and VVC+ (sensorless vector control)
- operating temperature: -10 °C to +50 °C
- protection: IP20 as standard, optionally higher version (cover conversion kit to IP21)

Communications and I/O

- RS-485 (Modbus RTU)
- 2× analog input (AI)
- 4× digital input (DI)
- 1× analog output (AO)
- 1× relay output
- internal power supply +10 V and +24 V

Protection and Features

- Electronic thermal motor overload protection
- Temperature monitoring of the inverter heat sink ensures shutdown in case of overheating
- Short circuit protection between motor terminals U, V, W
- If motor phase is missing, the inverter will shut down and report the fault
- In case of mains phase failure, the inverter will shut down or issue a warning
- DC inter-circuit voltage monitoring ensures, the inverter shuts down if the DC inter-circuit voltage is too low or too high
- protection against ground connection of the motor terminals U, V, W
- acoustic noise from the inverter comes from three sources, the DC inter-circuit coils, the internal fan and losses on the RFI filter (acoustic parameters measured according to ISO standards)

Main advantages

- compact size
- easy commissioning
- energy optimized operation
- flexible parameter configuration
- suitable for fans, pumps and HVAC applications

WARNING!

- In residential areas, the inverter may cause radio frequency interference. In this case, additional measures should be used to mitigate the interference.
- Do not use the inverter in applications that do not meet the specified operating conditions and environment. Ensure compliance with the conditions specified in the Operator's Manual.
- Properly sized fuses or circuit breakers must be used for proper protection of the inverter.
- Observe cable types and sizes, stripping lengths, and tightening torques to ensure proper operation of the inverter.
