Product description
Cabinet

features a frame construction with 25 mm thick sandwich panels on the sides, which are secured to the cabinet frame with self-tapping screws. The sandwich panels consist of outer and inner galvanised sheet metal, with a sound-insulating core of glass mineral wool. The individual panels can be removed. The fan is mounted within the casing on spring-mounted profiles to minimise the transmission of vibrations. The casing features circular outlets with single-lip seals. There is a steel mounting frame beneath the casing. The individual panels can be replaced with a panel featuring a discharge outlet. During fan operation, the casing is under positive pressure.

Impeller

is radial with backward-curved blades; it is statically and dynamically balanced.

Motor

CVAB fan motors are single-phase for 230 V; CVAT motors are three-phase for 230/400 V or three-phase for 400 V. The motors are fitted with thermal protection. Sealed, maintenance-free ball bearings with grease filled for the entire service life. IP55 protection rating, Class F insulation; standard operating temperature for CVAB is -40 °C to +60 °C, and for CVAT is -20 °C to +50 °C.

Speed control

The fan speed cannot be controlled.

Terminal block

on CVAB fans is located on the casing; CVAT fans do not have a terminal block.

Installation

Installation must only be carried out in the position shown on the dimensional sketch, with the motor shaft horizontal. The position of the outlet can be changed during installation by replacing the panel with the outlet with a solid side or top panel.

Instructions

The fans are suitable for ventilation applications where low noise levels are advantageous, particularly for ventilating restaurants, industrial kitchens, sports halls, hospitals, warehouses and swimming pools.

Explosion-proof design – explosive gas (G)

Motors with a sealed housing (d):
Fan classification II 2G Ex h IIB+H2 T4 Gb (motor with a sealed housing, classification II 2G Ex db IIC T4), IP55, insulation class F. The speed of these models can be controlled using a frequency converter. The motor is fitted with thermal protection via PTC thermistors, which must always be active during operation.

Increased safety motors (e):
Fan classification II 2G Ex h IIB+ H2 T3 (increased safety motors, classification II 2G Ex eb IIC T3)
