Digital Digireg® control systems are a key element of HVAC systems. They enable precise control of individual functions to achieve the desired indoor environmental parameters.
The advanced Digireg® control systems from ELEKTRODESIGN Ventilátory spol. s r.o. offer users superior functionality while maintaining ease of installation, serviceability and affordability.
Basic control modes
Digireg® control systems support three main modes of fan power control (both integrated in air handling units and stand-alone):
- VAV (Variable Air Volume)
Continuous control allowing variable airflow based on external signals. - CAV (Constant Air Volume)
Maintaining a constant air flow through integrated sensors. - COP (Constant Over Pressure)
Maintaining constant pressure in the piping network according to pressure sensors.
These modes allow optimization of operation in terms of comfort, energy efficiency and operating costs.
Compact and clear design
The Digireg® control system is housed in a compact, steel-plated control cabinet that includes:
- digital controller
- power and circuit breaker elements
- switching elements for individual devices
- The cabling is routed through plastic grommets in the bottom or side of the cabinet.
The system is controlled via a modern touch-sensitive Digireg® CP-TFT controller.
Wide range of applications
The Digireg® system is designed for a variety of air handling equipment:
- supply units
- air handling units
- recirculation units for hot air heating
- separate fans
The control and power parts are integrated in one cabinet, including outlets for the supply and exhaust fan.
The following are supported:
- 1-phase and 3-phase fans
- various speed controllers
- frequency converters
Heating and cooling controls
Digireg® enables comprehensive control of thermal processes within air handling systems:
Heating of air:
- water heaters (three-point actuator)
- electric heaters (SSR/triac 0-10 V)
- power switching up to 72 kW
Air cooling:
- water chillers (0-10 V)
- condensing units (on/off)
- inverter units (0-10 V)
- control of the heat pump in both cooling and heating mode
The system also allows activation of freecooling for energy-saving operation.
