Main features of the system:
- air handling unit with ZZT
- forced air supply and exhaust
- heat recovery
- suitable for new buildings and renovations
Basic elements of the system:
- air handling unit with ZZT
- accumulation hood for extraction of grease and vapour
The heat recovery system is used to provide a quality indoor environment for the foodservice operator while allowing for energy efficient operation. In the air handling unit, the heat energy from the exhaust air is transferred to the incoming fresh air via heat recovery. An important part of the system is a storage enclosure with grease filters and a downstream filter stage located in the ductwork upstream of the air handling unit. This element protects the heat recovery exchanger from clogging by grease particles and ensures long-term reliable operation of the system.
