The ducted fan system provides negative pressure ventilation of the sanitary facilities of smaller commercial buildings using multiple locally installed fans. The solution allows flexible design of ventilation according to the layout of the building.

In this negative pressure system, the contaminated air is exhausted from the sanitary facilities by means of ducted fans located in the air duct. Depending on the size and layout of the building, several fans are usually installed to provide air extraction from different parts of the sanitary facilities. The system does not use heat recovery. Fresh air is supplied to the sanitary facilities indirectly from other ventilated areas of the building.
