The non-heat recovery system is used to provide an operable indoor environment for the foodservice operator. The contaminated air is exhausted through a grease filter recovery screen connected to an exhaust fan that provides extraction of fats and vapors generated during cooking. The system also includes a supply fan to provide fresh air to the space and an air heater to cover the heat loss from the ventilation operation.
