Equal pressure system with ZZT


A central equal-pressure system with heat recovery ensures comfortable and energy-efficient ventilation of the entire building. The solution is ideal for new buildings.

Basic elements of the system:

  • central air handling unit with ZZT
  • variable flow controllers installed in individual apartments

In a central flat-pressure ventilation system with ZZT, fresh air is fed into the central air handling unit, where it is given heat energy from the exhaust air removed from the building through heat recovery. The treated air is then distributed into the building. Each apartment is equipped with a variable flow controller that controls the amount of supply and extract air. Fresh air is supplied to the living rooms and at the same time waste air is extracted from the sanitary facilities and the kitchen. The system ensures a consistently stable indoor environmental quality, high user comfort and, thanks to heat recovery, contributes to a reduction in the operating costs of the building.
