Uniform ventilation of classrooms and other facilities

The central equal-pressure system provides forced ventilation of classrooms and other areas of the school facility with the possibility of individual air flow regulation and energy-saving operation thanks to heat recovery.

Main features of the system:

  • central air handling unit for the entire school facility
  • ventilation of classrooms and other areas
  • recovery of heat throughout the building
  • suitable for new buildings or complex renovations

Basic elements of the system:

  • central air handling unit with ZZT
  • variable flow controllers

In a central equal-pressure ventilation system for classrooms and other facilities, fresh air is fed into a central air handling unit, where the heat energy from the exhaust air removed from the building is transferred through heat recovery. The treated air is then distributed to the different parts of the building. Each classroom or plant is fitted with a variable flow controller which controls the amount of supply and extract air according to the actual ventilation demand. The system ensures a consistently stable indoor environmental quality, high user comfort and, thanks to heat recovery, contributes to a reduction in the operating costs of the building.
