Main features of the system:
- central roof fan for the whole building and local ventilation units for each apartment
- pressure ventilation
- heat recovery
- suitable for renovations
Basic elements of the system:
- central roof fan
- electrically operated exhaust valves
- local ventilation units with heat recovery
In a central negative pressure system with a ZZT, the contaminated air is extracted from the sanitary facilities of the apartments through a common duct system connected to the roof fan. The fresh air supply is provided by local ventilation units installed in individual flats, in which heat recovery takes place thanks to a regenerative heat exchanger. This provides thermally treated fresh air to the interior. Compared to conventional negative pressure ventilation, the system ensures higher user comfort and at the same time contributes to reducing the energy consumption of the building operation.
