In the system, one central air handling unit is installed for the entire commercial building, to which fresh air is supplied. In the air handling unit, heat energy is transferred from the exhaust air leaving the building through heat recovery. The treated air is then distributed throughout the building. Each plant is equipped with a variable flow controller that controls the amount of supply and extract air according to the actual ventilation demand. The system ensures a consistently stable indoor environmental quality, high user comfort and, thanks to heat recovery, contributes to a reduction in the operating costs of the building.
