Main features of the system:
- roof fans for individual risers and local ventilation units for each accommodation unit
- pressure ventilation
- heat recovery
- suitable for renovation
Basic elements of the system:
- roof fans
- electrically operated exhaust valves
- local ventilation units with heat recovery installed in individual accommodation units
In a central negative pressure system with a ZZT, the exhaust air is extracted from multiple accommodation units through a common duct system connected to a roof fan. The fresh air supply is provided by local ventilation units, in which heat recovery takes place through a regenerative heat exchanger, thus providing thermally treated fresh air to the interior. Compared to conventional negative pressure ventilation, the system provides greater user comfort and at the same time contributes to reducing the energy consumption of the building operation.
