Main features of the system:
- roof fan for individual risers
- pressure ventilation
- no heat recovery
- suitable for renovations
Basic elements of the system:
- roof fans
- electrically operated exhaust valves
- façade supply elements installed in individual accommodation units
In a central negative pressure system, the contaminated air is exhausted from the sanitary facilities of the accommodation units through a common duct system connected to the roof fan. Electrically operated valves are installed in the individual accommodation units to regulate the amount of exhaust air according to the current ventilation demand. Fresh air supply is provided by facade supply elements. Each riser duct is equipped with a separate roof fan. The system is a simple and operationally efficient solution that does not, however, make use of heat recovery.
