Functions

The VX-6 dampers are designed for heat and smoke extraction systems from the fire affected section. The dampers are certified according to EN 12 101-8 and tested according to EN 1366-10. The classification is made according to EN 13501-3+A1:2010.

Use
The VX-6 dampers can be installed in systems for heat and smoke extraction from multiple fire compartments (multi). They can be installed in both OTK systems and in combination with a conventional HVAC system. They are designed for systems with automatic activation. Installation of dampers is allowed in a pipe that passes through a ceiling or wall, or directly into a ceiling or wall (the pipe route may start with this element). The fire resistance of the dampers is EI 120 (vewhow i <->o) S 1500Pa C10000 AA multi. The tightness of the casing corresponds to class C and the flapper leaf to class 4. Testing was carried out in accordance with EN 1751:2002.

Description
The damper consists of:
- a square shell made of galvanized steel sheet
- a movable damper blade made of fire resistant material
- smoke and fire seals
- a control mechanism, alternatively an EMS module for remote control of the damper function
