Description
Systems designed to dissipate heat and smoke. The damper blade is operated to move the blade to the open position based on a signal. During periods of inactivity, the damper is in the closed position. The damper is certified with fire resistance EI 120 (hed i<->o) S 1500 C10000 AA multi axis of blade rotation vertically or EI 120 (hod i<->o) S 1500 C10000 AA multi, axis of blade rotation horizontally according to EN 12 101-8. Fire resistance according to EN 1366-10 and classification according to EN 13501-4. If a damper with HOT 400/30 MULTI classification is required, the VU90-HOT type must be used. Detailed information on request.
Use
The VU120 damper is suitable for square ducts designed for heat and smoke extraction. The dimensions of the damper range from 200 x 200 mm to 1200 x 1000 mm (width x height) as shown in the dimension table below. The damper can be installed in a group above or next to each other in a maximum configuration of 2x4 (HxW). Installation is possible horizontally or vertically. The damper is designed for air without mechanical or chemical impurities and for environments without explosion hazards.
Variants
The damper is supplied with a 24 V or 230 V actuator as standard. When voltage is applied to terminals 1-3, the damper blade is put into standby mode (damper closes). By applying supply voltage to terminals 1 and 2, the damper blade is reversed. If power to the damper actuator is interrupted, the leaf will remain in that position.
Caution
The VU120 heat and smoke extraction dampers are fire safety devices. It is therefore essential to comply with the rules prescribed by the standard (training of installers, carrying out regular operational checks, etc.). Ask for information!
