Product description

The VDK-10 smoke detector is designed to automatically shut down the air handling equipment in the event of combustion products in the duct system. The detector is installed outside the ductwork, with 2 sampling pipes (300 mm long as standard) extending into the ductwork and supplying an air sample to the detector. There is a relay at the outlet which is switched on when power is applied and no smoke is detected. The detector periodically performs an internal self-test. The detector is installed behind the supply or exhaust air filter depending on the detection method.

Dimensions 140 × 80 × 195 mm (W × H × D).

Note: CTE-DIN 12/15W DC transformer must be added for installation. When installing a VDK, a separate fuse must be supplied upstream of the controller for the necessary sensor ramp-up time.
