Cabinet
The fan consists of 2 TD fans connected in series by an MBR coupling. The fan housings of the TDx2-350 to TDx2-800 are made of plastic, the TDx2-1000 and TDx2-1300 models are made of galvanized steel sheet coated with epoxy paint. The housing of each fan consists of a mounting rail with two throats and a motor which is connected to the throats by quick-release clips. The design allows the motor section to be removed without the need to disconnect the ductwork.
Running wheel
The impellers of the TDx2-350 to TDx2-800 fans are made of plastic, while the TDx2-1000 and TDx2-1300 impellers are made of aluminium.
Motor
Motors are asynchronous with short armature, from size TDx2-500 onwards with external rotor. The AC motors have dual windings (TDx2-350), allowing for dual speed operation, the TDx2-500 - TDx2-1300 fans have triple windings. The motors are equipped with a thermal fuse. Bearings are ball bearings with grease packing for life. Insulation class B, protection class IP44.
Square box
The terminal box is located on the fan housing, some types include a start-up capacitor.
Speed control
The speeds are switched in two (three) stages using COM, REGUL 2 or INTER 4P controllers.
Mounting
Fans can be installed in any fan position. The cabinet must not transmit mechanical stresses from the ductwork, a flexible connection to the ductwork is recommended.
Information
The TDx2 fans consist of two fans connected by an MBR coupling. The design of the TDx2 fans allows the following types of operation:
- simultaneous operation of both TDs
- independent operation of both TDs
When only one fan is operating, we prefer to operate the fan closer to the intake.
