Cabinet
The TD-160 to TD-800 fan enclosures are made of plastic, the TD-1000 to TD-6000 models are made of galvanized steel sheet coated with epoxy paint. The housing consists of a mounting rail with two throats and a motor which is connected to the throats by quick-release clips. The design allows the motor section to be removed without the need to disconnect the pipework.
Running wheel
The impellers of the TD-160 to TD-800 fans are made of plastic, while the impellers of the TD-1000 to TD-6000 fans are made of aluminium.
Motor
The AC motors in the TD-160 to TD-350 fans have dual windings, allowing for dual speed operation. Fans TD-500 to TD-2000 have triple windings. TD-4000 and TD-6000 have one winding and can be controlled by changing the voltage. The motors are equipped with a thermal fuse (TD 160-TD 350) or thermal protection (TD 500-TD 6000). The bearings are ball bearings with grease packing for life. Insulation class B, protection IP44 (TD 160-2000), insulation class F, protection IP54 (TD 4000 and 6000). TD and TD-T fan motors are 1-phase for 230 V, TD 4000 TRIF are 3-phase for 230/400 V, TD 6000 TRIF are 3-phase for 400 V.
Clamp Box
is located on the fan housing, some types include a start-up capacitor.
Speed control
For AC motors with double windings (TD 160-350), the speed is switched in two stages using REGUL 2 or COM 2 controllers or by changing the voltage with REB (stepless control) or REV (five-stage control) controllers. For triple winding motors (TD 500 - TD 2000), the speed is switched in three stages using COM 3 or INTER 4P controllers or voltage change control with REB (stepless control) or REV (five stage control) can be used. The TD 4000 and 6000 can only be regulated by changing the voltage. The TD 4000 and 6000 TRIF can be regulated by voltage change or frequency converters. TD-T 160-350 cannot be regulated, TD-T 500-800 3V only by INTER 4P speed switch.
Mounting
Fans can be installed in any fan position. The enclosure must not transmit mechanical stresses from the ductwork. It is recommended to use a flexible connection to the ductwork.
Options
- TD basic version
- TD-T version with 1 to 30 minutes adjustable time, single-speed (for pipelines DN 100-125)
- TD-T 3V version with 1 to 30 minutes adjustable time, three-speed (for pipelines DN 150-200)
