Cabinet
It is made of steel sheet, coated with black lacquer, mounting brackets and screws are electroplated.
Running wheel
is made of aluminium alloy. The rotation of the blades is set by the manufacturer. The impeller is statically and dynamically balanced.
Motor
It is asynchronous with resistive armature, stator with cooling fins. TCBB fan motors are 1-phase for 230 V, TCBT are 3-phase for 230/400 V. The motors are equipped with thermal protection as standard (6-pole only), the windings are tropicalised with class F insulation. The operating temperature range is -40 to +70 °C (6-pole) or -40 to +40 °C (4-pole). 4-pole motors are equipped with PTC thermistors. Grease-filled ball bearings for life. Protection rating IP65 (6-pole) or IP55 (4-pole).
Speed control
is performed by a frequency converter. Speed control is not possible with TCBB/6-710 L fans.
Rotation direction
can be changed for single-phase and three-phase motors. With a standard impeller, the flow rate drops by approx. 30% when the direction of rotation is reversed. It is possible to order an impeller for the opposite direction of rotation. Air flow is standard from the impeller to the motor.
Clamps
is made of black plastic as standard. In the single-phase version it also contains a start-up capacitor. The terminal block is located on the cabinet.
Mounting
Fan in each motor axis position. The cabinet must not transmit mechanical stresses from the piping. A flexible connection to the piping must be used.
Noise
indicated in the performance characteristics correspond to the free-field sound pressure values at a distance of three times the impeller diameter (minimum 1,5 m).
Instructions
The COMPACT series fans are high-performance fans with a convenient short housing for installation in the ductwork.
Adherence to these instructions should not pose any safety, health or environmental risks in accordance with EC directives (CE marked). The same applies to other products used in the device or during installation. Consider the following warnings:

• This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a responsible person. The user must ensure that children do not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
