Description
The body of the fire plate valve with shut-off flap is made of painted steel plate. The plate valve is made of ABS plastic, colour RAL 9010. The control disc of the valve allows easy flow control. The valve flapper closes when the temperature in the immediate vicinity reaches the melting values of the fuse connection. The melting temperature of the standard fuse joint is approximately +72 °C.
Use
SCV+ is intended for use as a firestop in ventilation systems. The resistance of the SCV+ has been tested in accordance with EN 13501 and EN 1366-2. The valve damper can be ordered separately under the type designation SC+. The fire resistance classification of the valve installed in a masonry wall construction is EI120S. Classification for other constructions in the table below or in the declaration of performance document. The SCV+ product can be used for both supply and discharge pipes (except SCV0).
Variants
- fire damper with disc valve (type SCV+)
- fire damper classified according to EN 13 501 for integrity only (E). Type designation is SCV0. This variant is designed for exhaust.
The FT SC fuse is replaceable and can be ordered as an accessory. The FCU SC position limit switch can also be supplied as an accessory.
Mounting
- the valve can be installed in any position of the valve axis
- the valve is designed for both exhaust and supply air, type SCV0 only for exhaust
- the product must be installed in accordance with the verified project documentation in terms of its classification - see Declaration of Performance
- the valve must be further installed according to the enclosed installation instructions
- it is recommended to install the valve in such a way that regular maintenance is possible in the course of regular inspections
