Information

- the cabinet is made of galvanized sheet metal, includes terminal block, internal installation and heating power regulator including power element cooler
- the heating rods are made of stainless steel
- it is equipped with two thermostats, working (60°C) and safety (switches off at 120°C)
- the reset button of the safety thermostat is located on the cabinet, during installation it is necessary to position the heater with regard to the inspection activity
- continuous regulation is carried out by supplying the control voltage with the range of 0-10 V depending on the control deviation or by the built-in temperature regulator
- the heater is equipped with its own temperature regulator with inputs for TGBK sensors
- the regulator allows connection with the Unireg^® control unit, or with a complete Digireg^® control unit

- control voltage 0 to 10 V DC
- current draw at 10 V control voltage up to 10 mA
- control voltage range for 0-100% of heater output is approx. 0.6% of the heater output (more details on request)
- operating temperature on the heaters (at ambient temperature 40 °C) is up to 85 °C
- maximum temperature on the heaters with electronic limitation in case of insufficient cooling up to 100 °C
- heater switching period approx. 20 s
- control circuit is galvanically isolated from the mains voltage, maintaining conditions for SELV circuits
- for control systems, which cannot supply control voltage with 10 mA current, PS-21 converter is available
- protection IP43
- they are mounted behind the fan in the direction of air flow, approx. 1 m of pipe must be inserted between the fan and heater
- when switching off the fans, the dampers in the system may be closed only after the bars have cooled down, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the heater and other equipment.
- Caution! The electric heater must have a minimum speed through the heating coils of 1.5 m/s to maintain proper operation. Failure to maintain this speed will cause the heating coils to overheat and disable the heater's thermal protection. This significantly reduces the life of the heating coils.
