Cabinet
The fan consists of two TD fans connected in parallel with the KTB kit. The enclosures of the TD-250 to TD-800 fans are made of plastic, while the TD-1000 to TD-2000 models are made of galvanized steel sheet with epoxy coating. The housing of each fan consists of a mounting rail with two throats and a motor which is connected to the throats by quick-release clips. The design allows the motor section to be removed without the need to disconnect the ductwork.
Running wheel
The impellers of the TD-250 to TD-800 fans are made of plastic, while the impellers of the TD-1000 to TD-2000 fans are made of aluminium.
Motor
Motors are asynchronous with short armature, from size TD-500 onwards with external rotor. The AC motors have dual windings (TD-250 and TD-350), which allows for dual speed operation; the TD-500 - TD-2000 fans have triple windings. The motors are equipped with a thermal fuse. Bearings are ball bearings with grease packing for life.
Square box
The terminal block is located on the fan housing, and on some types includes a start-up capacitor.
Speed control
The speeds are switched in two (three) stages using COM, REGUL 2 or INTER 4P controllers.
Mounting
Fans can be installed in any fan position. The cabinet must not transmit mechanical stresses from the ductwork, a flexible connection to the ductwork is recommended.
Information
The TWIN fans consist of two TD fans connected in parallel with a KTB set. This set consists of 2 brackets and 2 transitions from circular to square ducting. The design of the TWIN fans allows the following types of operation:
- simultaneous operation of both TD
- independent operation of both TD
Independent operation of both TD fans is made possible by the use of check dampers. The TWIN system is recommended to increase airflow while maintaining the same pressure.

• This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a responsible person. The user must ensure that children do not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
