Cabinet
The fan frame is made of aluminium profiles, the panels are made of galvanized steel sheet. There is an inspection cover on the cabinet, the impeller is accessible after its removal.
Circulating wheel
The impeller is radial with backward curved blades, made of galvanized steel sheet. It is statically and dynamically balanced.
Motor
is asynchronous with short armature. The motors are 3-phase for 230/400 V, have Class F insulation and an operating temperature of -40 to +120 ˚C. Sealed ball bearings with grease packing for life. IP55 protection.
Clamps
is mounted on the flange motor housing as standard. Cable connection is possible by removing the terminal box cover.
Mounting
in any position of the fan, preferably with the motor axis vertical or horizontal with regard to inspection activities. When using a motor cover, the fan is also suitable for outdoor mounting.
Speed control
is carried out by frequency converters.
Rotation direction
is indicated by an arrow stuck on the cabinet. The direction of rotation must be checked after commissioning; if the direction of rotation is reversed, the phase sequence must be changed.

Instructions
The fans are suitable for more demanding applications (professional kitchens, industry) due to their higher operating temperature (120 °C) and performance characteristics. If the fan is operated in heat and smoke extraction mode, speed control is not permitted and safety protections such as thermocontacts must be disabled.
Warning
Fans are supplied without flanges, motor cover, frame and silent blocks fitted. These elements must be ordered separately (see accessories).
Adherence to these instructions should not pose any safety, health or environmental risks in accordance with EC directives (CE marked). The same applies to other products used in the device or during installation. Consider the following warnings:
• Observe the safety instructions to prevent damage to the device or personal injury.
• The technical information in this manual must not be changed.
• It is forbidden to interfere with the motor of the device.
• In order for the device to comply with EC directives, the device must be connected to the mains in accordance with the applicable regulations.
• The device must be installed in such a way that under normal operating conditions it cannot come into contact with any moving part and / or live part.
• The device complies with the applicable regulations for the operation of electrical equipment.
• Always disconnect the device from the power supply before carrying out any work on it.
• Appropriate tools must be used when handling or maintaining the device.
• The device must only be used for the purposes for which it is intended.
• This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a responsible person. The user must ensure that children do not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
