Cabinet
is designed for vertical air discharge. The base and the fan casing are made of sheet steel with corrosion protection. The cylindrical casing is coated with grey epoxy paint. The fan includes a backflow preventer on the discharge and a protection against the intrusion of foreign bodies. The fan is certified according to EN 12 101-3 as a device suitable for heat and smoke extraction.
Running wheel
The fan is axial and made of Al alloy with steel hub. The impeller is statically and dynamically balanced. The impeller blade angle is adjusted by the manufacturer (8°-32°).
Motor
is asynchronous with short armature. The motors are 3-phase for 230/400 V up to 3 kW and 3-phase for 400 V for higher outputs and two-speed motors. Insulation class H, protection class IP55. A revision switch is located on the casing. Operating temperature for ventilation up to 40 °C, in case of fire according to classification F400(120), on request (F300/F200 (120)). Two speed (4/6 and 4/8 pole) and 6 pole motors are available on request.
Square box
With a revision switch is located on the fan housing. The protection is IP55.
Speed control
is possible on selected types by frequency converter. In heat and smoke extraction mode, regulation is not allowed.
Flow direction
is standard from the motor to the impeller.
Mounting
The fan is installed in a vertical position on the roof. The casing must not transmit mechanical stresses from the ductwork. A flexible connection to the ductwork must be used.

Instructions
The fans are suitable for air handling applications where high fan flow rates are advantageous and the fan function for heat and smoke removal is a requirement.
