Product description
Housing
The housing is made of ABS and is white in colour. Airflow is directed rearwards; the outlet diameter is 99 mm. It is designed for wall or ceiling mounting. The fans come with a non-return valve included in the pack, which can be used when the fan is operating intermittently.
Impeller
The impeller is a radial type with forward-curved blades, press-fitted onto the EC motor shaft.
Motor
The motor is an EC motor with high efficiency and low power consumption. It is fitted with a thermal overload protection device; the maximum ambient temperature is 40 ˚C. Protection rating: IPX4.
Terminal block
The terminal block is accessible after removing the front grille.
Control
Airflow control operates in two modes. Continuous operation with intermittent ventilation upon activation of an external switch, hygrostat or infrared sensor. Intermittent operation according to the set fan speed upon activation of an external switch, or according to the conditions of the hygrostat, infrared sensor and run-on time. The minimum and maximum speeds are set using potentiometers on the fan’s control electronics after removing the front grille.
Variants
• S – continuous operation at low flow rate; a boost is activated via an external switch. Intermittent operation ensures the fan only starts once the switch is activated.
• T – continuous operation at low flow rate; boost is activated via an external switch; adjustable run-down time 1–30 mins. Intermittent operation ensures that the fan only starts once the switch is activated; after the switch is deactivated, the fan continues to run for the set run-down time.
• H – continuous operation at low flow rate; boost activated by an internal humidity sensor; adjustable run-down time 1–30 mins. Intermittent operation ensures the fan starts automatically only after increased humidity is detected, in accordance with the sensor settings and run-down time.
• M – same functions as H, plus a pull switch fitted directly to the fan housing.
• D – continuous operation at low flow rate; boost is triggered by an internal infrared motion sensor; adjustable run-on time 1–30 mins. Intermittent operation ensures the fan only starts automatically once motion has been detected.
Installation
The fan is installed on a wall or in a suspended ceiling.
Instructions
The fans are suitable for highly demanding interiors and architectural designs.
