Cabinet
The fan cabinet is made of galvanized steel sheet and is fitted with sockets for fixing into the square pipe. The enclosure is internally coated with a 7 mm thick layer of soundproofing material. There is a revision cover on the cabinet, which, when removed, gives access to the fan and motor. The fan is belt driven.
Running wheel
The fan is radial with forward curved blades, made of galvanized steel plate and is statically and dynamically balanced.
Motor
is asynchronous with short armature. CVTT fan motors are 3-phase for 230/400 V or 3-phase for 400 V. The motors are class F insulated and have an operating temperature of -20 to +40 ˚C. The ball bearings are grease filled for life. Protection rating IP55.
Square box
is located on the motor frame as standard and is accessible by removing the fan inspection covers.
Mounting
The fan can only be mounted in the position shown in the dimension diagram. It is possible to choose the discharge direction horizontal or upwards and the service side, i.e. the belt positioned on the right or left when viewed from the discharge side.
Speed control
is only possible in all sizes by frequency converter.
Rotation direction
is indicated by an arrow stuck on the housing. The direction of rotation must be checked after commissioning; if the direction of rotation is reversed, the phase sequence must be reversed.
Air Conditioning Accessories
Accessories mounted on the inlet are marked with the code IN, on the discharge with the code OUT.
Instructions
Designed for general air handling applications, the fans are suitable for ventilation of restaurants, hospitals, sports halls, warehouses and production areas due to their IP55 protection and outdoor installation. They can be preferably used in combination with heat recovery heat exchangers.
Adherence to these instructions should not pose any safety, health or environmental risks in accordance with EC directives (CE marked). The same applies to other products used in the device or during installation. Consider the following warnings:
• Observe the safety instructions to prevent damage to the device or personal injury.
• The technical information in this manual must not be changed.
• It is forbidden to interfere with the motor of the device.
• In order for the device to comply with EC directives, the device must be connected to the mains in accordance with the applicable regulations.
• The device must be installed in such a way that under normal operating conditions it cannot come into contact with any moving part and / or live part.
• The device complies with the applicable regulations for the operation of electrical equipment.
• Always disconnect the device from the power supply before carrying out any work on it.
• Appropriate tools must be used when handling or maintaining the device.
• The device must only be used for the purposes for which it is intended.
• This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a responsible person. The user must ensure that children do not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
