Cabinet
Frame construction with 45 mm thick sandwich side panels, which are attached to the cabinet frame with self-tapping screws. The sandwich panels consist of an outer painted and inner galvanised sheet, with a sound-insulating mineral wool filling inside. The individual panels can be removed for service and maintenance. On the inlet and outlet, the enclosure is fitted with a circular neck for the connection of pipes with a lip seal. The cabinet can be suspended from the ceiling via steel hinges in the bottom of the cabinet (up to unit size CVAT/10-9000). From unit size CVAT/10-12000 to CVAT/10-16000, the cabinet is fitted with a frame on the bottom for suspension from the ceiling. The motor and fan are mounted on a common rigid frame and isolated from the cabinet by rubber vibration isolators. The cabinet is pressurized when the fan is operating.
Iris wheel
is radial with backward curved blades made of special composite material. The wheel is statically and dynamically balanced.
Motor
EC motor with infinitely variable speed control using a 0...10 V signal. CVAB fan motors are 1-phase for 230 V, CVAT are 3-phase for 400 V. Motor protection IP54, operating temperature range -20 to +60 °C. Motor efficiency class IE4.
Speed control
The fans can be controlled in the full motor control range 0...10 V. The minimum fan speed value corresponds to 0.5 V (start value).
Square box
The power and control voltage connection is accessible on the side panel of the enclosure.
Mounting
only in the position shown in the diagram with the motor axis horizontal. The location of the discharge spout can be changed during installation by interchanging the spout panel with either side or top full panel.
Instructions
Fans are suitable for air handling applications where the low noise level of the fan is advantageous - for ventilation of restaurants, kitchens, sports halls, hospitals, warehouses.
Adherence to these instructions should not pose any safety, health or environmental risks in accordance with EC directives (CE marked). The same applies to other products used in the device or during installation. Consider the following warnings:

• In order for the device to comply with EC directives, the device must be connected to the mains in accordance with the applicable regulations.

• The device complies with the applicable regulations for the operation of electrical equipment.
• Always disconnect the device from the power supply before carrying out any work on it.
• Appropriate tools must be used when handling or maintaining the device.
• The device must only be used for the purposes for which it is intended.
• This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a responsible person. The user must ensure that children do not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
