BX-1H 160 fire valve

Description

The BX-1H Fire Plate Valve is made of painted steel plate. The valve consists of a circular shell, a control disc, a mounting sleeve and a seal to provide inherent fire and smoke resistance. The control disc of the valve allows easy flow control and positioning by means of a counter-nut.

Use

The BX-1H fire valve is designed for installation in a vertical fire partition. The valve can be placed at the beginning of the pipe route. In the event of a fire, the valve closes and separates adjacent fire compartments. The valve closes when the temperature of the passing air exceeds 72 °C. Its function is to prevent further spread of the fire. In the operating position, the valve is in the open position (stand-by position).
The BX-1H fire valves are classified according to EN 13501-3+A1:2010 as EI 60 (in o->i) S. The valve design complies with EN 15650:2010.

Mounting

- the valve is designed for air extraction, at the beginning of the extraction pipe route

- the valve must be installed according to the enclosed installation instructions
- we recommend that it is installed in such a way that regular maintenance is possible as part of regular inspections
