Product description
Cabinet

is made of galvanized steel sheet and is powder coated in grey-white combination. The internal construction is made of high quality EPP. On the top of the unit there are 4 throats with diameters according to the power of the unit. The SABIK (E, RF) unit also has a fresh air outlet on the underside of the cabinet.

Fans

There are radial fans with backward curved blades on the discharge and intake.

Motors

Single phase EC motors 230 V/50 Hz.

Recuperator

The SABIK unit is equipped with a counter-current heat exchanger with a ZZT efficiency of up to 94%. The E variant is equipped with a counter-current enthalpy heat exchanger with a ZZT efficiency of up to 86% and a ZZV efficiency of up to 82%. The heat exchanger is accessible by opening the front panel. For summer operation, the unit is equipped with a bypass.

Filters

For fresh air intake and exhaust exhaust of polluted air, G4 class plate filters (ISO coarse 65%) are fitted as standard. F7 filters (ISO ePM1 50%) can be supplied as an accessory for fresh air intake.

Regulation

The unit is equipped with a fully automatic control system, which, in combination with four temperature and relative humidity sensors, ensures continuous speed regulation according to the actual requirement, without the need for any further intervention in the unit control. In the performance characteristics, curves for individual speeds are indicated (see operating instructions for details). The designer wired controller allows manual fan speed switching, by-pass control, activation of the intensive ventilation function (boost), activation of automatic operation, night cooling and filter clogging indication. In the RF version, the unit is equipped with a radio frequency remote control that allows manual switching of fan speed and activation of automatic operation. Further unit settings are made via DIP switches and potentiometers on the unit's control electronics (after removing the front cover). The unit has four pre-set weekly programs, one of which allows automatic operation from a humidity sensor, built-in VOC sensor (optional accessory), or a 0-10V analogue override signal. SABIK units can be supplemented with a built-in module providing constant airflow control SABIK-NEMBUS-SF. The external SPCM Lite M module enables remote management via a mobile app or the Connectair web interface.

Electrical connection

The unit is designed for direct connection via mains plug into a wall socket. The power supply is single-phase 230 V / 50 Hz.

Mounting

The unit is designed for vertical wall mounting in indoor areas with a minimum temperature of 12 °C (wall mounting brackets included). An optional SABIK-WMC mounting bracket is available to provide greater clearance from the wall. The unit must be mounted in such a way as to provide sufficient space for opening the unit lid, changing filters, connecting the condensate drain (DN20) to the waste with a siphon odour stopper and for carrying out periodic wiring inspections.

Noise

The table shows the sound power level at the casing.

Accessibility

- SABIK-FM base frame
- SABIK-WMC mounting bracket
- SABIK-PH built-in preheater
- SABIK-VOC built-in VOC sensor
- SABIK-NEMBUS-SF constant air flow module
- SABIK-350-D150/160 KIT reducing throats
- SABIK-500-D180/200 KIT reducing throats

Instructions

The unit can be equipped with a built-in SABIK-PH preheater. If required, MBE-AFP duct heaters of the appropriate capacity according to the air flow rate and diameter of the connecting duct can be used for preheating the supply air.

Information

A ventilation unit designed for apartment or family houses. It is characterized by minimal control and maintenance requirements and very economical operation. A great advantage is the easy switching between left and right versions. All units of this series are certified by the "Passive House" system.
