Cabinet
is made of durable hardened white plastic. The heat exchanger part of the unit allows for installation in a 250-500 mm thick wall. The inner part of the unit is equipped with a design front cover.
Fans
The unit is equipped with a reversible axial fan with DC motor and is designed for continuous operation.
Recuperation
is equipped with a regenerative heat exchanger made of ceramic material. The average thermal efficiency is up to 78% (maximum up to 93%). For easy maintenance and servicing, the heat exchanger is accessible by removing the inner part of the unit containing the fan.
Filters
A G3 class filter (ISO coarse 45%) is located on both sides of the heat exchanger.
Regulation
Standard 2-speed version manual control on the fan housing with the possibility of connecting an external controller to switch higher speeds, the RD variant allows speed control based on an integrated humidity sensor. This control ensures optimum air quality in the room. The RD version of the unit includes a wireless controller allowing the setting of the operating mode (supply only/exhaust only/alternating supply and exhaust), 3 speeds and control of up to 16 RESPIRO units. In "alternate" mode, the standard flow direction change interval is set to 70 s.
Mounting
On the wall using four mounting screws. The unit can only be installed in the horizontal axis of the heat exchanger body with a minimum inclination of 1% to the outside of the wall. The long connection extension (500 mm), which contains the ceramic heat exchanger, can be adapted to the wall thickness. The unique design of the unit ensures easy maintenance and cleaning. The RESPIRO unit is suitable for use when replacing an existing fan without the need for extensive installation preparations.

Information
The unit is suitable for new constructions or renovations as a replacement of existing negative pressure ventilation with fans. Due to the alternating operation and the accumulation of waste air energy in the ceramic heat exchanger body, there is no excessive heat loss caused by the supply of fresh cool air.
Note
The RESPIRO ventilation unit is the ideal solution for replacing non-functioning, previously installed 100 or 160 mm diameter fans in existing installations (without the need for additional structural modifications, wiring and condensate drainage).
