Cabinet
The spiral housing of the radial fan in left or right hand version is manufactured by moulding from PE or PEel (PP, PPel or PVC on request) as standard. Stainless steel screws are used for the joints. Air temperature -15 ˚C to +70 ˚C, ambient temperature up to +40 ˚C.
Running wheel
is radial, made by casting from PP (PPel on request).
Motor
4 or 6 pole single-phase or 2, 4 or 6 pole three-phase asynchronous motor, insulation class F, grease-filled ball bearings for life. The motor is located out of the air stream. Protection IP55. Multi-speed design, explosion-proof or outdoor versions on request.
Clamping machine
is located on the motor.
Speed control
is done by changing the voltage or by a frequency converter. The motors are designed to cover the entire power field of the fan. If other than rated speeds are required, a frequency converter is used.
Mounting
is carried out on the painted motor stool supplied with the fan. Stainless steel stool on request.
Noise
The sound pressure level at a distance of 1.5 m in the free acoustic field is read on the Lp scale of the power diagram from the intersection of the speed curve and the line of highest efficiency. The sound power in the different octave bands for different speeds is given in the table below the diagram. The values are measured with a tolerance of ±3 dB.

Instructions
The design of the fans makes them suitable for long air ducts in various process and air handling applications, in the chemical industry, petrochemicals and laboratories. They are not suitable for the extraction of wood dust and grit, or other flammable or explosive mixtures. Fans should only be started after connection to the pipe route to avoid overloading the motor.
Caution
Casing material can be selected within the specified range to suit the needs of the particular project and should be specified in the fan specification.
