Cabinet
It is made of steel, galvanized sheet metal of sandwich design with aluminium corner beams. There are mounting feet at the bottom for attaching the fan to the floor or ceiling. Version with horizontal discharge CVHT/H or vertical discharge CVHT/V. The belt-driven motor is housed inside the enclosure and is standard on the right side of the enclosure when viewed from the discharge side, alternatively a motor can be supplied on the left (CVHT/H-TI or CVHT/V-TI). The fan is certified according to EN 12 101-3 as suitable for heat and smoke extraction.
Running wheel
The fan is radial, made of galvanized steel sheet. It is statically and dynamically balanced.
Motor
is asynchronous 3-phase for 230/400 V or 3-phase for 400 V, depending on the power. Belt drive with automatic belt tensioning for maintenance-free operation. Operating temperature for ventilation up to 100°C, in case of fire according to F400(120) classification. Two-speed motors of 4/6 and 4/8 poles can be supplied on special order. Sealed ball bearings with grease packing for life. Protection class IP55, insulation class F.
Square box
It is located directly on the fan motor and is accessible by removing the side cover of the enclosure. The cable grommet is in the frame of the enclosure.
Mounting
in horizontal position, the displacement can be selected according to the enclosure design (see dimension sketches) horizontally or vertically.
Rotation direction
is indicated by an arrow stuck on the cabinet. The direction of rotation must be checked after commissioning, if the direction of rotation is reversed the order of the phases must be changed.
Noise
The acoustic pressure at a distance of 1.5 m on the suction side is shown in the graphs. The acoustic power is calculated from the value shown using the corrections in the table.

All accessories for CVHT fire fans must be consulted with the technical department of ELEKTRODESIGN Fans Ltd.

Instructions
The fans are suitable for fire ventilation of assembly areas, large sales areas (supermarkets), collective garages, cinemas, sports halls, etc.
Highlights
Fans are supplied without flanges fitted. It is possible to order free IBR flanges with a width of 20 or 30 mm.
