A central ventilation system without heat recovery ensures the forced supply of fresh air and the extraction of stale air from production and storage areas. This simple solution is particularly suitable for facilities where the use of heat recovery is neither practical nor feasible

Key features of the system:

  • supply duct fans
  • wall-mounted extract fans
  • constant-pressure ventilation
  • without heat recovery
  • suitable for both new builds and refurbishments

Basic system components:

  • duct-mounted radial fans
  • wall-mounted axial fans
  • duct heaters
  • ventilation ductwork and distribution components

In a centralised system without heat recovery, fresh air is supplied to production or storage areas via duct fans, whilst stale air is simultaneously extracted by wall-mounted fans. The supply air is heated as required using duct heaters.

The system does not utilise heat recovery and represents a simple solution for facilities where the use of heat recovery is not suitable or practical. Constant-pressure ventilation is achieved by balancing the volume of supply and extract air.
