Description

The CR circular fire dampers are used as a closure for air ducts in case of fire. By activating the damper, the spread of combustion products to the adjacent fire compartment is prevented for a specified period of time. The casing of the damper is made of corrosion-protected steel sheet. Certification according to EN 15650. Classification according to EN 13 501-3+A1. The fire resistance class of the damper is EI 60, EI90 or EI120 according to the installation method. Tested according to EN 1366-2 at 500 Pa.

Use

Fire dampers can only be used for air free of mechanical and chemical impurities and in environments without explosion hazards.

Variants

The CR fire damper is available in the following versions. With a fusible link (type MFUS), which activates the closing mechanism at temperatures above 72 °C, or with a servo drive (type ONE/BFL(T)). The servo drive can be fitted to 24 V or 230 V. Optionally, dampers can be supplied with an extended length of 500 mm or with a fire-resistant lining for dry installation of the damper in the fire partition (1s). The CR60/CR120 fire damper can be installed in a pipe route outside the fire partition. Such positioning must be in accordance with the installation instructions.

Mounting

The fire dampers are designed for pipe diameters from 100 mm to 315 mm. The damper is designed with minimum pressure loss in mind and is suitable for installation in all common building structures such as walls, floors or lightweight partitions. The damper can be installed with the mounting axis in any position.

Highlights

Fire dampers are fire safety devices, therefore it is essential to comply with the rules prescribed by the standard (training of installers, carrying out regular operational checks, etc.). Ask for information!
