Main features:
- roof fan for individual riser duct
- exhaust ventilation
- no heat recovery
- suitable for renovation projects
Basic system components:
- roof fans
- electrically controlled extract air valves
- façade inlet vents in each accommodation unit
In this central exhaust system, contaminated air is extracted from the sanitary facilities of the accommodation units through a shared duct system connected to roof fans. Each riser duct is equipped with a separate roof fan. Electrically controlled extract air valves are installed in each accommodation unit to regulate exhaust airflow based on current ventilation demand. Make-up air is supplied through façade inlet vents. The system provides a simple and efficient solution; however, it does not incorporate heat recovery.
