Main features:
- central roof fan for the entire building
- exhaust ventilation
- no heat recovery
- suitable for renovation projects
Basic system components::
- central roof fan
- electrically controlled extract air valves
- façade inlet vents in individual apartments
In this exhaust system, stale air is extracted from the bathrooms and toilets of the apartments through a shared ductwork system connected to a central roof fan. Individual apartments are equipped with electrically controlled extract air valves that regulate exhaust airflow based on current ventilation demand. Make-up air is supplied via façade wall inlets. The system provides a simple and efficient solution; however, it does not incorporate heat recovery.
