Exhaust ventilation ensures the extraction of polluted air from bathrooms and toilets in all apartments via a central roof fan. Make-up air is supplied through façade vents in individual apartments. The system does not incorporate heat recovery.

Main features:

  • central roof fan for the entire building
  • exhaust ventilation
  • no heat recovery
  • suitable for renovation projects

Basic system components::

  • central roof fan
  • electrically controlled extract air valves
  • façade inlet vents in individual apartments

In this exhaust system, stale air is extracted from the bathrooms and toilets of the apartments through a shared ductwork system connected to a central roof fan. Individual apartments are equipped with electrically controlled extract air valves that regulate exhaust airflow based on current ventilation demand. Make-up air is supplied via façade wall inlets. The system provides a simple and efficient solution; however, it does not incorporate heat recovery.
