Product description
Cabinet

The cabinet is made of steel sheet laminated with a layer of plastic without visible screw or rivet joints. The cabinet is in RAL 9016 white, the decorative intake grille is powder coated in RAL 9006, the exhaust opening is fitted with moulded slats and an anodised aluminium frame in a natural shade. On request, it can be supplied in any RAL shade or stainless steel. The enclosures are available in several types depending on the mounting method and the desired shading effect. Extensions or a decorative frame are available for ceiling mounting. The water heater screens should be ordered with a regenerative filter. No filter is supplied for screens with an electric heater.

Fans

High performance double-sided suction radial fans, five-speed or three-speed (for screens with electric heater) motors with thermocontacts are used. Fans with EC motors are also available on request to provide infinitely variable speed control. IP20 protection.

Heater

The water heater version is for normal and low temperature DHW distribution. A thermostatic valve with a 2 m long capillary can be ordered for control, which is mounted outside the orifice. The valve has an operating range of 20 to 50 °C and is factory set to 32 °C (the heater parameters are related to this value). The DHW connection is left-handed as standard, a right-handed version can be supplied on special order.

El. connection

The cable glands are located in the right end of the cabinet from the top. The atypical right-hand version is mirror reversed.

Regulation

The water heater clones are controlled by the EBT 5 / UBT 5 LCD controller. The controller is used to manually or automatically start the orifice, set the speed in five stages, control up to 10 orifices in different operating modes, connect an external (door) contact and room thermostat, and set the time up to 10 minutes. The UBT 5 LCD includes a clear LCD display. If a controller is not prescribed, the aperture is supplied without a control circuit. The fans and, if applicable, the frost thermostat contacts are only brought out to the terminal block.

Frost protection

When using the curtain in an AWE installation, the water heaters must be protected against freezing. This is done by an anti-freeze thermostat, which is installed and wired directly at the factory. The frost protection function is provided by the EBT 5 / UBT 5 LCD controller.
