The low-ceiling mounting of OR AK air curtains in aluminium frames offers an optically perfect solution. The commonly used telescopic intake and discharge extensions and inspection hatches in the intermediate ceiling are eliminated. The access necessary for maintenance and revisions is hassle-free.
Use
Suitable for banks, hotels, shops and supermarkets up to 10,000 m2. The aluminium frame mounting kit includes 4 aluminium profiles anodised in natural colours, with the two longitudinal profiles already fitted with sheet steel angles with prepared holes for mounting the frame in the intermediate ceiling. The kit also includes the connecting screws.
Hanging the aluminium frames
Hang the air curtain from a pre-selected place on the ceiling. Drape the aluminium frame over the air curtain from below. Use M8 bolts to connect the frame to the ceiling structure. Tighten the fixing brackets. The gap between the screen and the frame must be the same width on all sides. This is ensured by foam tape filling the gap. Under no circumstances must there be a metal connection between the screen and the aluminium frame (vibration transmission). Adjust the ceiling tiles to the aluminium frame.
Input space is the key to success. The entrance space needs special attention when designing the store. It must be arranged in such a way as to motivate passers-by to enter the shopping area while protecting persons and goods from the weather. An air curtain meets both of these requirements.
