Cabinet

Patented ISOSTREAM® modular system with 45 mm thick wall panels made of galvanized steel sheet with external painting in RAL9002 (grey-white). The panels are internally filled with sound and thermal insulation made of non-combustible mineral wool. For ease of servicing, the unit cabinet is equipped with an opening door with locks. The circular throats are fitted with rubber seals, the square throats are prepared for fitting a 20 mm frame damping insert. The frame of the unit is made of aluminium profiles, the wall panels are screwed into the frame. The condensate outlets from the heat exchanger and condenser are always located in the bottom panel of the unit and are ready for connection to the odour trap. At the customer's request, the unit shell can be provided with atypical surface protection with higher corrosion resistance.

Fans

A fan with backward curved blades is mounted on both the supply and exhaust sides of the unit. The impeller is made of composite material and is statically and dynamically balanced.

Motors

An EC motor is directly mounted on the fan impeller. The fan motor can be continuously controlled by an external 0-10 V signal. The motor is equipped with its own built-in thermal protection. Motor efficiency class IE4, motor protection IP54.

Exchangers

Depending on the design, the unit is equipped with a water or electric air heater. For summer air cooling needs, a water cooler or direct evaporator is fitted. For the needs of bivalence heating, the evaporator can be manufactured in a reversible design. Evaporators are designed for R410A and R32 refrigerant as standard. Water heaters and chillers have copper tubes and aluminium fins in a galvanised steel frame as standard. For the need of higher corrosion protection, the heat exchangers can be provided with additional corrosion protection. The electric heaters have smooth heating rods as standard and are equipped with an operating thermostat with a starting temperature of 60 °C and an emergency thermostat with manual reset and a starting temperature of 120 °C.

Recuperator

The heat exchanger with completely separate supply and exhaust air streams is made of aluminium. It includes a bypass with a damper that fully controls the air entering the exchanger or bypass. On request, the recuperator can be retrofitted with a circulation or mixing damper (marked C or MX in the unit code).

Filters

For sizes 500, 1000, 1500, 2200 and 3600, the supply and extract air are fitted with 96 mm thick polypropylene filters of filtration class F7 and M5. For sizes 5100, 6000, 7800, 2 filter cartridge elements of different filtration classes with a thickness of 48 mm or 1 filter element with a thickness of 96 mm can be placed on the fresh air intake and exhaust air intake. Filters are available in filtration classes from G4 to F9. Access to the filters is via the inspection door on the service side of the unit. The unit can be supplemented in the case of multi-stage filtration with MFL filter cartridges with MFR filter inserts.

Flaps

Aluminum control dampers with preparation for mounting the actuator are integrated on the fresh and exhaust air intake. The dampers meet leakage class 2 according to EN1751. On request, the unit can be retrofitted with dampers in leakage class 3.

Electrical connection

The supply voltage is 1x230 V/50 Hz or 3x400 V/50 Hz depending on the unit equipment. Supply cables, sensor cables and power cables to the fans are fed into the unit via plastic grommets in the unit wall. Inside the unit, rubber grommets with membrane are provided for cable routing.

Regulation

The unit is equipped as standard with Digireg® digital control according to the unit configuration. In case the unit is equipped with a MaR system directly from the factory, all sensors and actuators are electrically connected and tested. The control cabinet is located on the wall of the unit (in case of atypical location of the MaR control cabinet, this must be consulted with the manufacturer and specified in the order).

Mounting

In vertical position with the throat on top (or up and to the side). Left and right-hand versions are distinguished. A handling space in front of and next to the unit is required for service interventions, filter changes, etc. There must be space under the unit for the installation of a condensate drain trap. See below for the specific location of the spouts in relation to the service side of the unit. The unit must be installed with a 5% slope towards the condensate drain. The HVAC piping is connected to the prepared circular (DUOVENT® DV TOP 500, 1000,1500, 2200, 3600) or rectangular throats (DUOVENT® DV TOP 5100, 6000, 7800) - it is recommended to install flexible sleeves between the pipe throats and the unit to eliminate vibration transfer from the unit to the piping. The rectangular throats are integrated in the unit's wall sandwich panel and the spacing of the corner connection holes is optimized for P20 connection flanges.

Noise

The tabulated sound power levels represent the sound power levels at each throat of the unit with A-weighted filter correction. Acoustic parameters are within ±3 dB.

Variants

Individual unit variants are distinguished by equipment code. Atypical versions must be consulted.

Warranty conditions

The DUOVENT® COMPACT DV TOP, including the DVAV, DCAV and DCOP control system, must be commissioned exclusively by the Seller or a person designated by the Seller for this purpose. Failure to comply with this condition shall result in the termination of the Buyer's rights under the defective performance and the Quality Warranty. Further conditions are set out in the Seller's Complaints Procedure.

Information

The unit is designed for ventilation of commercial premises. Mounting variants allow for adaptation to building requirements. The unit is designed for continuous operation. Consult our technical department for the design of the unit for ventilation of swimming pool halls (version code SP).
