Extended warranty, terms

We do not guarantee the suitability of using fans for special purposes; the determination of suitability is fully in the customer and designer’s competence. The warranty period for fans is 2 years after the sale of goods. The warranty applies only when all the instructions for assembly and maintenance are adhered to, including the motor protection. The warranty applies to production defects, defects of material or defects of the instrument function.

The warranty does not apply to defects arising due to:
• Improper use and project
• Improper handling (does not pertain to mechanical defects)
• During transport (compensation of losses arising during transport should be claimed at the transport contractor)
• Faulty assembly, improper electric connection or protection
• Improper operation
• Unprofessional intervention into the instrument or instrument disassembly
• Use in unsuitable conditions or in an unsuitable manner
• Wear caused by common use
• Intervention of a third party
• Due to a natural disaster

When claiming on the warranty, you need:

• complaints form
• invoice
• delivery note

The warranty repair is always carried out exclusively on the basis of the decision of ELEKTRODESIGN ventilátory spol. s r.o. in the company service station or at the site of installation. The defect will be removed in a manner depending exclusively on the decision of the service station of ELEKTRODESIGN ventilátory spol. s r.o. The claiming party receives a written statement on the result of the claim. In the event of an unjustified claim, the claiming party covers all the expenses of its execution.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Warranty conditions during a standard warranty (2 years):
The equipment must be installed by a professional company assembling air-conditioning units. The electric connection must be carried out by a professional electrical engineering company. On the equipment, the initial electric revision has to be carried out according to ČSN 33 1500. The equipment must be tested and put into operation professionally. When starting the equipment, the above-indicated values must be measured and a record must be made on the measurement, certified by the company putting the equipment into operation. When claiming possible defects, the record must be submitted together with the record on the initial revision and the data on the protection of motors.
During operation, it is necessary to carry out regular inspections of electric equipment in deadlines according to ČSN 33 1500 and controls, maintenance and cleaning the air-conditioning equipment, including the feedback control of the piping system (the working point of the set must be in the permitted region of the working characteristics of the fan and the fan flow must not exceed the rated value).

Warranty conditions during extended warranty (3 years):
After installation, electric connection and start up, the air-conditioning equipment must be tested and put into operation professionally according to the conditions for a standard warranty. The report on the measured values during start up and system tests, including the copy of the revision report with the data on the protection must be delivered to the supplier of the equipment (ELEKTRODESIGN ventilátory spol. s r.o.) for archiving. During operation, regular revisions of electric equipment should be carried out in deadlines according to ČSN 33 1500. The same applies for controls, maintenance and cleaning the air-conditioning equipment, including the feedback control of the piping system.
