A ground liquid heat exchanger for the use of constant soil temperature serving as frost protection for the heat recovery unit in winter and as a source of cooled air in summer.
The ground liquid exchanger consists of an outdoor and an indoor part, the outdoor part is placed in the ground trench, the indoor hydraulic module is placed in the space of the technical room.
The whole system is filled with antifreeze which circulates between the external (earth) and internal parts. The fluid is heated (cooled) by the temperature difference given by the ground temperature by flowing in the ground collector and transfers the heat (cold) in the inner module containing another heat exchanger.
In the cold season at outdoor temperatures below 0 ºC it preheats the intake air by up to 14 K, in the warm season at outdoor temperatures above 22 ºC it cools the intake air.
